Daily Dogs Greyhound Syndicates

Daily Dogs first launched their syndicates when a couple of Greyhound Fans decided to create a forum, the forum was created after other forums had become a bit of a playground. One of the two Greyhound Fans and multiple former owner had launced a successful forum many years ago long before any of the Independent Forums had started and this was called UK Greyhound Forum.

Once Daily Dogs was formed and online, Daily Race threads were started where many from the exchange forum joined. Daily Dogs domain was bought and the site was transfered. A friend said he may have a nice young Wimbledon Dog for sale by the Name of Hes In. He was duly bought and renamed Hes In Dailydogs. Hes In went from A5 to A2 at Plough Lane trained by the King of the Hurdlers Jason Foster in no time at all before a couple of serious Injuries put him on the easy list. He was moved from Wimbledon and placed with Julie Luckhurst at Crayford, Unfortunately he was to suffer a 3rd Injury this time a Gracillis and the Dog's best interests were in our minds as we instantly retired him. We also bought a strapping bouncing pup called Quest Daily Dogs who despite being unsuited to Crayford's ultra tight track has broken 24 seconds a few times and won his share. Questy is now trialling on at Wimbledon trained by Tony Taylor. Hes In was a superb dog and is still under our ownership at Julies being spoiled it was gut wrenching to see his career end, he ran through walls for us and was very talented.

This was a blow but we had already bought a Gorgeous Blue Bitch from Ireland called Mo Ghuna from Conor at Raw Kennels on the back of a wide Margin win in Ireland. She looked to be a proper Crayford type and trialled in nicely and railed like a cat. Just as she was on the card she came into season. We waited patiently and on here prep spin at Julie's Kennels in Staplehurst they heard a loud crack as "Girlie" was halfway round the track, A broken hock was the result and Girlie was treated, rested and rehomed internally and she settled in lovely and is enjoying her new life and sofa. Conor then did an astonishing thing and Gave us her Sister who he said was not as good but she will do us proud. Raw Peyton took to Crayford like a duck to water, Winning first time up and then finishing 2nd 5 times on the bounce to dog that were running fater than she could. Peyton sadly ruptured her Achilles when she was running well and she was treated, rested and retired and is due to go into a new home shortly after being accepted.

We had also bought a once raced Bitch from Ireland who had fallen in her only outing, but was superbly bred young dog called Elios Mist, We renamed her Miss Daily Dogs and kept her previous name in here kennel name of Misty. She trialled in nicely got in A4 and then promptly won A4 A3 and is currently in A2 and has been runner up and 3rd in Open Class. Trained by Norman Melbourne, she is just one of our Dogs that race at Sheffield's Owlerton Stadium. A Stadium that we have never had an issues about the fair grading and boxes of the Greyhounds and would reccommend as a track to race at to Anyone.

Joining Misty at Sheffield is ability wise, The Queen of Daily Dogs, Vicky. Ei Yup Dailydogs named with defference to the Yorkshiremen who form half of the Syndicate. She has been an absolute superstar. Far from straightforward to train as a result of a few niggles she has provedmore than  equal to A2 at Sheffield and has also given Daily Dogs an Open Race win at Coventry were many were there to scream the place down as she blitzed them from the 2nd bend. She had previously led a very classy Lorrys Options for 2/3rds of a 6 bend race before going lame and having a spell off. Ei Yup will be having pups probably early in 2010. Both of our Sheffield girls have achieved the coverted Fastest Time Of The Night on more than one occaision!

Shut It Ray , runs at Sheffield and is owned by a handful of Daily Dogs Members and Trained By Norman Melbourne. He really is a lovely dog if a bit scatty but has proved he has pace to burn and stays strongly. Ray is a bit of a Character and has already won a few races in fast times. A White and Black Dog bought from ireland after some fair times. Still young and probably will run in a few Opens as he improves having already competed in Opens.

We Also have the New Daily Dogs Puppy Club where we have 3 young dogs 2 are at Crayford and one is at Sheffield. The only one to trial on in ernest and race is called Kinky Daily Dogs, Kinky is trained by our Crayford Trainer Julie Luckhurst and has really started well. After finishing his schooling he graded on easily and has won 2 from his first 7. The latest being a 4 1/2 routting of the field in 23.90 finding over 50 spots. Bingo Daily Dogs (Yet another lovely Blue bitch) is trialling in at Crayford with Julie and Gowan Daily Dogs makes up the 3 in the Puppy Club and he will shortly trial at Sheffield with Norman Melbourne. All 3 are July 07 Ace High Rumble x Much Nicer.

We do have a few  more syndicates that run outside of our Daily Dogs name and modesty prevents us from naming them here outside of their respective syndicate Forums which are hidden and locked to its members as all of our Syndicates are at Daily Dogs, safe to say we have landed some monster gambles . Nearly all of our syndicates have seen a charge of £50-£60 a share unless they are very small private Syndicates with 4 or 5 members and then Kennel bills are split amongst the members and prize money, if any remains is shared out.

When you consider we have competed in plenty of opens you can see that you really do get value for money with the Daily Dogs Greyhound Syndicates, the reason why is they are 100% non profit and run for the benefit of the sport and people who wish to own without baring the financial responsibilty of going it alone or joining other rip off syndicates where the people that run them make money. This also allows us to rest and treat the dogs rather than run them for the run money. After all a months kennel bill for a rested dog  between 12 members is about £15 each.

At this time only shares in the Puppy Club remain at £50 to include all 3 dogs plus £15 a month. If you wish to join then please go into the forums and post a message regarding the puppy club in the Main Forum. One of the Syndicate leaders will respond to you or you can email us from the email adress at the bottom left of the Home  Daily Dogs page..

All syndicates are NON PROFIT, we post many high quality photos of the runners in the private syndicate forums where only those in the syndicate can view the forum and the photos and we try to get some videos too, Also the finances are overseen and controlled by one of the Syndicate Members. Daily Dogs will never make profit or seek to make profit from their Syndicates, the Dogs welfare is always the number one with us and if they need a rest they have a rest. Daily Dogs provide the most cost effective way of owning and enjoying Greyhounds and we all meet up at the races and have a great time. You are welcome to Join us.

See you in the Forums! Do not think you will take time to fit in, All New members to the forums and the Syndicates are given a warm welcome and treated like one of the Family. Why pay hundreds elsewhere , You simply cannot get a better deal than the one Daily Dogs offer plus you get the craic of the nights out and all of the little touches like Away Days, Kennel Visits, trial reports, photos and sometimes videos. If you love Greyhounds and want to join non profit friendly syndicates for the cost of a night out and your share of the kennel bill if the Win and Run money hasnt covered it already!  (often between 10-12 people) ,then you are very welcome at Daily Dogs. If not then come into the forums and chat Greyhounds with us.
