What A cracking nights racing we have at Hove tonight and also we have the delight of it being on Sky Sports to be able to watch what hopefully will be an enjoyable and profitable nights racing, Downside though is we will have to put up with Gary Newborn fronting the show again but theres always the mute button lol. Anyway lets get on with the racing tonight and start off with the marathon race that isnt being shown on sky

7.25 Coral Marathon
This is a race that is full of the unknown as we have two runners ( Phison Jet and Got Any Gossip ) who havent competed over this sort of trip before, then we have Come On Larky who has never had a look around the track before, Slaneyside Demon has been off the track for almost 2 months and even though hes had 3 trial runs recently surely has to be a fitness doubt, Physcos Dream who ran over this trip in April and March never really showed anything so no confidence there either and then theres Bubbly Kate who won on last time on sky atHall Green but wasnt what i would call impressive but is the one to beat. So i will be having a value play on Come On Larky
7.40 brightondogs.co.uk Trophy
First of the races live on sky sports and its a Hurdles race, In the race we have what in my opinion is the best 6 bend hurdler there is around at present in Analsys but this isnt a 6 bend race its 4 bends but is still 515m so will deffo be in with a strong shout but the problem i see is clearing Bell Rio early on as i think connections would have preferred them being drawn inside Rio as Analsys isnt the widest of runners from what ive seen, also in the race there is Comans Joe who will need to smash out and try and build up a big enough lead here to win this and isnt the strongest over this trip, Bubbly Magic is nicely drawn on the rails and will hopefully try n hold off the others to the bend and then will have every chance, doesnt have to lead but will be wanting to turn handy, Stevensonsrocket has shown its got the ability to win a race like this but needs to come away from the traps like it can do, if this can get a good enough start its deffo a big player and has a nice draw. So i will be playing the likely value in the race and going against the short priced fav with Bubbly Magic and Stevensonsrocket
8.00 Coral Sprint Final
Favourite going into this race will be Blonde Jet, this dog loves it round Hove and ran very well last week and if repeating that will be very hard to beat, Raithby Toure has been in good form but the loss on the red box is a negative and Chubbys Port ran very well last week an has a great draw but his trapping is suspect and that is a worry, Blonde Jet is my pick for this race
8.15 coral.co.uk Trophy
This is a very interesting race in my opinion, Ballymac Ruso is goin to be the fav for this race and is a very good pup but will he overcome being drawn in trap 5, i honestly dont think he will have a good run as wants to be nearer the rails and could find passing Acceleration and Iceman Vader early alot of trouble, Rocky Rocket has a great draw and is deffo one for the forecasts n tricasts, Shelbourne Tiger will be making all its running in the second half of the race but has to stay with these early to have a chance of winning, Iceman Vader is definatly interesting and at 7/1 is a good outsider especially if it can get round the first 2 bends in a handy position but the selection for me is Directors Choice who got no run last time but tonite i would imagine Seamus has him fully tuned up to smash out on the rails n make all, has had 5 runs at the track over this distance and won 3 of them, the other 2 runs hes found trouble, dont think he will have any trouble tonight if he traps
8.35 Coral Puppy Trophy Final
Boherna Best is a pup in cracking form and will be another short priced fav for tonight but will he get the lead he wants, im not sure, last weeks run was good for a first look and he may come on from that look around but at odds on it isnt the best value in my opinion, i think Mountjoy Star could turn infront of it at the first and hold up Boherna in the early stages and make this race for a stronger runner, that strong runner is Brimardon Star, this pup is improving with every run and wasnt too far behind Boherna last week when the fav had it all her own way so tonight if not getting an early lead i think Brimadon will power thru coming off the last bend for victory
8.50 Coral 0800 242 232 Trophy
What a cracking race this looks, Barnfield On Air will be looking to get back on winning ways after last weeks loss, he has every chance to lead up on the rail here but will need to trap to its best as otherwise could find himself led up by the first and then in trouble, Annual Scholes is another who will be hoping for a smash and to lead up at the first, Rough Mourinho is yet another who will be hoping to lead up and if doing so will be hard to catch and Bubbly Legend who has had 2 runs round here recently and recorded very good times, will need to have its trapping boots though tonight but does offer some value, all in all a great looking race with me just favouring Rough Mourinho
9.10 Coral Ladies Trophy Final
This looks a very tricky race, Droopys Judith smashed out last week and if doing the same will be very hard to pass, Icemaid Lilley was beaten last week by Judith when drawn inside her so cant see her reversing that form, Droopys Mate looks to have a tricky draw and could get some trouble at the first here, Kilelton Rose also has a tricky race and could get some crowding early on, Million Maid ran very well last week and if breaking in that fashion again tonight will be sure to go close and finally Droopys Lotto ran well last week but in my opinion theres plenty more to come and could get a lovely run out wide and then get after the leaders, i will be playing Droopys Judith and Droopys Lotto here
9.25 Sue Ryder Care Charity Cup
Looks a two dog race in my opinion, in Trap 3 you have Flying Winner whohas been in absolute awesome form and no reason why it cant continue that tonight, only danger i can possibly see is if Westmead Sam gives it a whack on the run up to the first bend as it will be moving over to the rails, Foulden Special in Trap 6 has a cracking draw and will surely take advantage of any trouble there is inside, Big Brett Coal is a dog i dont like but could turn in a performance here at a huge price and is deffo one for e/w backers. i may have a small play on Foulden special but Flying Winner does look good here
9.45 Coral Sussex Cup Final
This looks set to be another cracking race, Ballymac Under looks to be the worst drawn dog of the night as no way does he want to be this wide and will struggle to have a clear run in my opinion and even if he was somehow to get a clear he will use alot of energy in doing so and fade coming off the last in my opinion, Droopys Carvalho has a plot draw out wide and is the one to beat but if he wasnt to smash out then it would make things alot more interesting, Spears Tarquynn has been running very well in the last two rounds and could even have a chance to lead up here and if doing so would have a great outside chance, Lenson Earl has been running really consistently this year but this draw will not be favourable to him in my opinion, General Cargo looks to be outclassed here and Commander Chief is an interesting runner as if theres any trouble and he can turn close enough to the leaders he will be a big runner and at 10/1 on monday morning he is definatly cracking value, im playing Commander Chief for a touch of value but think Carvalho is the one to beat but is a skinny price so not for me
